Welcome Back to Vanguard!

We've been seeing a fair number of players coming back to the game and whether it be spring fever, summer break, or just because you've heard about the recent Magi Hold expansions... we're glad you're here.

If you're new to the game, we hope you love crafting as much as we do. You may find that we're a bit quiet, but don't hesitate to jump in with questions. The game does change slowly, and we're getting better and better at incorporating those changes quickly into our Wiki database so you may not find that much chatter. However, there's a ton of useful information stored here and we're always happy to help with your questions.

The site has both FORUMS and a WIKI. Registration is handled separately and independently for each one!

Registering for the Forums
The forums here (which you're reading now) are accessed directly at:
http://www.vanguardcrafters.com/forum

You can always read the forums without registering. However, if you would like to contribute to the forums, you'll need to request permission from our lead moderator, Aenene.

To Request Posting Privileges:
1. Register using the "Register" link in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
2. Verify your e-mail address, as directed, and
3. Send a Private Message to Aenene and she'll make sure you're verified.

Problems with the Forums?
You can Send a Private Message to Aenene if you have any questions about the Forums or have any difficulties with the site.

Registering for the Wiki
The wiki is accessed directly at:
http://www.vanguardcrafters.com/wiki

You can always read and contribute to the wiki without registering. However, if you choose to edit an article anonymously, your IP address will be recorded in the pages' history in place of your user name. Thus, we recommend that you register there before editing articles.

To Set Up a Wiki Account:
1. Choose the "Login / create account" option at the upper right hand corner of the Wiki and set up an account with your user name.
2. Read the article entitled "Crafters Wiki Standards" -- it should help you get started. You can write a test article on the Sandbox if you'd like to practice.

Problems with the Wiki?
You can post a public message for me on the wiki at User_talk:Ashjete if you have any questions about Wiki editing or have any difficulties with the site. I also have an account here on the forums so you can Send a Private Message to Ashjete here if you prefer.

Remember: The registration processes are separate. If you register on the forums, you're only set up for the forums. If you register for the wiki, you're only set up for the wiki.
